Guided Tours
Take a guided tour to the western harbour in Malmö, an area equal in size with Trelleborg. During the 17th century Malmö literally grew out into the ocean. When Kockum's Shipyard was dismantled the city changed from industrial to educational. Malmö college was founded in 1998 and has today over 20.000 students.

Malmö City Archives - A Historical Perspective:
The shipyard epoch's start in the western harbour in 1775. The move of Kockum's mechanical workshop from David Hall's Square and the start of ship manufacturing in 1870. The filling with sand from the danish Köge Bay for 100 years that eventually became todays Western Harbour.
The Docks - The Vision for Residents, Companies and Malmö College.
1.200 residents living around the docks, 22.000 students at Malmö College, and targeted control over businesses towards the western harbour. Companies with a technology profile: Sigma, Tyréns, "Submarine Hall", Intentia, Teknikportalen, Flextronics, VM-data and Sydkraft.
Bo01 - Buzzing with Life:
Before the first european housing expo the realization about building a sustainable information and welfare society on a unique and old industrial area was the main driving force. The urban construction was formed from the sea and wind exposure. A high-class architecture with surprises and a medival like development plan by the architect Klas Tham. 90% is either sold or rented today.
Turning Torso - The Art of Living
A vision that became a reality with architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava's creation: 190m high and 54 floors. Europe's tallest building for housing is a one of a kind and is based on 9 cubes with 5 floors in each that turns like a human.
